For the location of the vineyard, so close to Pétrola and Almansa, they could be covered by the DO Almansa but the Lorenzo family has preferred to keep the name Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, indication that protects wines of their other property, the nearby winery Finca Los Aljibes.
